FIFA PRO Licensed Coaching
Your child learns from a coach with the highest available soccer license in the world — the same caliber of coaching found at professional clubs in South America and Europe.
Not all soccer clubs are the same. Here is what makes LMFC the clear choice for families who want more than just a jersey.

Coach Montes is a Psychotherapist. At LMFC, mental training is not an add-on — it is built into every session. We help players overcome fear, build confidence, and develop a winner's mindset.
LMFC is connected to a global network of professional teams and academies worldwide. High-potential players receive direct pathways to collegiate opportunities and professional tryouts.
Train in Olney, Silver Spring, North Potomac, or Gaithersburg. We are close to where you live so your child never misses a session.
We promote God — Family — Sports. At LMFC, every parent is treated as a partner in their child's development. We are a community, not just a club.
We actively monitor player development and report to college recruiters throughout the season, while helping high-potential players pursue the next level.

We currently compete in NPL (National Premier League), CPSL (Chesapeake Premier Soccer League), EDP, EDP Showcase, NCSL (National Capital Soccer League), MDSL (Maryland Soccer League), and UCL (United Clubs League). Tournament participation is on a team-by-team basis.
We have convenient training locations in Olney, Silver Spring, North Potomac, and Gaithersburg — all across the Maryland suburbs.
This is one of our most important philosophies. We believe that standings matter more to parents than to developing players. When children play for standings alone, they adopt a fear-based mentality rather than a creative one. At LMFC, we build creativity, confidence, and skill — and the wins take care of themselves.

“The transformation in my sons’ game since training with Coach Montes has been incredible. The practices are well planned, focusing on technical skills and ‘soccer thinking’. You do not see that in all programs. I’ve watched my sons’ confidence skyrocket under the guidance of Coach Montes as well as the positive reinforcement they receive from their fellow LMFC teammates. They each play for different age-appropriate teams and coach is able to tailor practices to each age level. My boys have leveled up their teamwork and individual skills under the incredible influence of Coach Montes. I feel so lucky to have a coach who puts this much of heart and preparation into each practice session. If you are looking for a coach, who actually teaches the game, LM FC is the place to be!”
Parent of two
“We did our research before choosing a club for our daughter. Nothing else in Maryland came close to what LMFC offers. The coaching, the care, the values it is unlike anything else.”
Parent, Silver Spring
“Coach Montes is the most qualified and dedicated youth coach I have ever encountered. He knows each player personally and adjusts his coaching to bring out the best in every child.”
Parent, GaithersburgThere is only one soccer club in Maryland that trains the complete athlete — mind, body, and character. Fall/Winter 2026 registration is open right now. Spots are limited.
