FAQ

LMFC provides elite & professional soccer training to boys and girls of all levels from 5 to 19 years old.
LMFC Maryland promotes world-class soccer, teaching high-potential players to excel during intense game-like situations and fostering confident players to succeed both on and off the field.
LMFC is part of a global soccer network of professional teams and academies across the world, providing players with exposure to reach the next level with opportunities around the world.

- Develop players to improve their technical, tactical and cognitive skills, as well as their strength and        confidence, improving their overall game.
- Transmit soccer values such as fair play, commitment, team spirit.
- Implement the official LMFC program led by highly-skilled and licensed coaching staff.
- Expose players to international experiences through tournaments.
- Monitor and report players’ development to recruiters throughout the season.
- Offer position-specific and elite training sessions to high potential players.
- Expose high potential players to opportunities at the collegiate and professional levels.

Evaluations are all year round and we anticipate taking a total of 100 to 120 players. Players are encouraged to attend tryouts and we will look at them and provide advice and feedback.

LMFC Academy Teams train 2-3 nights a week, and the training sessions are thematic based upon the curriculum for that particular age group.
LMFC teams will participate in tournaments and league play held through the state. Tournaments are team based and league games are held on Saturdays in Maryland.

The standings usually matter more to the parents than they do the players. At LMFC we feel that whenever we compete against another club or even amongst other academy teams in our own club, the game will be competitive and both teams desire to win the game.

We don’t want to put the younger players in situations where winning is the be all and end all. If this is the case players play with a fear based mentality rather than a creative mentality.

LMFC teams will enter tournaments throughout the year and will be on a team by team basis. Please reach out to your coach for your tournament schedule.
